Donations

The Old Red Museum of Dallas County History & Culture is a 501 (c) (3) charitable nonprofit organization. The Museum supports its activities through three sources:

1) earned revenue from admissions, programs, memberships and rentals,
2) donations from individuals, corporations and foundations and
3) in-kind contributions for goods and services.

Contributions to Old Red help support the Museum’s educational programs and exhibits as well as the Museum’s general operations. Recognition is given to all those who contribute to the Museum.

In addition, there are also many opportunities for sponsorships of Old Red’s programs, exhibits and even unnamed Museum areas. Each sponsorship is tailored specifically for the sponsor and/or program, depending upon the determined goals and objectives.

Matching Gifts

Make your gift go farther with matching support from your company. Many companies will match employees' gifts made to non-profit organizations. Please ask your employer for eligibility requirements, guidelines, and the appropriate matching gift forms. Once you have received the matching gift form from your employer, complete the employee portion of the form and mail your gift and form to:

Artifact Donations
Do you have a historic photograph of Dallas County? The Old Red Museum collects images for use in future exhibits, research and educational programs. If you are interested in donating a photograph, slide or negative to the Museum, please send an e-mail to: history@oldred.org.

Sponsorships

There are many opportunities to sponsor programs, temporary and permanent exhibits and other activities at Old Red.  Each sponsorship is custom designed to meet the goals and needs of the sponsor and will include appropriate recognition for the sponsor.   Sponsorships are available at different levels.   Please contact the office of the president, if you are interested in exploring a sponsorship with Old Red.  Email president@oldred.org or call 214-757-1905.
