Join the Old Red Museum today!
This is an exciting time to become a member of the Old Red Museum of Dallas County History & Culture. The magnificent 1892 Romanesque courthouse has been beautifully restored with graceful arches, a 4-story grand staircase, distinguished courtroom and imposing clock tower. The building is the sixth courthouse to sit on the same block of land, the very first block of Dallas platted by John Neely Bryan in 1841. The second floor houses a Museum with over 1,000 artifacts and historic photos, four mini-theatres – each featuring a specially commissioned film – and one of the few hands-on history education centers in the county.
Support the Old Red Museum of Dallas County History & Culture with your one-year membership. We have a dynamic lineup of new programs, lectures, workshops, family programs and temporary exhibits.
