Affectionately known as "Old Red", this 1892 Romanesque courthouse served as the center of Dallas County life and government. Within its sandstone and granite walls, meetings were conducted, marriages performed and justice was served.

The doors to Old Red are once again open to offer this one of a kind location as the perfect setting for your wedding, reception, meeting or social gathering. Centrally located and easily accessible, Old Red is adjacent to Dealey Plaza, and The West End Historic District, and just a short walk to the Dallas Convention Center and nearby hotels, making it the ideal site for any social gathering.

The grand architecture of the Old Red Museum is sure to make a great impression. From the moment your guests arrive they will take pleasure in this unique and historic building. Grand entryways made of marble and stone along with the soaring four-story staircase welcomes your clients, friends and co-workers.

The Great Hall features refined architectural amenities, including 20 foot ceilings, graceful arches, chandeliers and traditional Victorian color schemes making it the ideal setting for your wedding, reception or meeting. This spacious area can accommodate up to two-hundred and forty seated or four hundred standing with ample space for buffets. Just down the hall, there are two additional rooms for breakout meetings or ceremonies. The Hatton W. Sumners Courtroom is fully restored to its original 1892 elegance and can hold up to 150 guests for your event. For a more traditional meeting or wedding, we offer an area with the speaker or ceremony taking place in one of Old Red's turrets.
